James Gorsuch Murray
James Gorsuch Murray, 92, of Berlin, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, April 11, 2017 at the Berlin Nursing Home with his daughters by his side.
Born in Hampstead, Maryland, to John W. and Edith Murray, James had five brothers and two sisters all of whom had preceded him in death.
He lived most of his life in Salisbury, Maryland, where he practiced dentistry for over 25 years. James was very proud to have been a Navy veteran of WWII and loved to play golf and travel in his free time with his wife, Jean, who also preceded him in death.
James was extremely loving and proud of his two daughters, Linda M. Smith, and her husband, Kevin, of Ocean City, and Dana M. Tull and her husband, Cecil, of Berlin.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Casey Stamps and his wife, Sandra, of Costa Rica, Reno Smith and his wife, Kristine, of Ellicott City, Maryland, Alexandra Smith and her fiancé, Matt Gaddis, of Charleston, South Carolina, Meredith Smith of Ocean City, Cameron Tull of Berlin and Aubrey Tull of Berlin; and one great-grandson, Samuel Stamps, of Costa Rica; as well as several loving nieces and nephews.
