By Katie Tabeling | Sep 21, 2017

(Sept. 22, 2017) The Ocean City Fire Marshal’s Office is still investigating a fire that damaged two apartments the 1200 block of Baltimore Avenue on Sept. 15.

Around 11:50 p.m., officers and firefighters responded to the downtown fire and immediately helped tenants out of the building. The blaze was extinguished quickly, and no one was injured.

“One visiting occupant was treated by EMS and transported for an unrelated medical issue,” said Communications Manager Jessica Waters in a press release. “Some occupants were displaced … Emergency Management and the Red Cross made arrangements for temporary housing.”

The cause of the fire is unknown. Anyone with information, photos or videos of the fire are asked to contact the fire marshal’s office at 410-289-8765.
